Book Giveaway--A Wedding Invitation

Today I'm giving away A Wedding Invitation. I loved the idea of this book....showing up at the wrong wedding!

To enter to win, leave a comment with an interesting aspect of a wedding you went to. A friend of mine has a lot of friends, so as she walked down the aisle, each friend stood at the end of the row and handed her a rose. By the end of the aisle, her bouquet was complete. I thought it was a wonderful way to include those friends who are special but without having 20 bridesmaids!

Leave your email address and get a second entry by following the blog. I can only ship to the US, and I'll have my mom or sister pick a random number next week for the winner. :)

Have a great week!

A friend of mine had her mother's wedding dress, the grooms mother's wedding dress and both grandmother's wedding dresses displayed at the reception on mannequins. I thought it was such a sweet honoring thing to do for all the women that got married before her and showing the sweet legacy of those Godly marriages. Very fun!!

I wore my mother's wedding dress and carried her Bible as the corsage. It was covered in white satin and had rose buds pinned to it

My father had a flower shop called The Flower Basket so all of the bridesmaids in my wedding carried Flower Baskets filled with flowers.

In my second wedding my new husband and I placed a ring on my four yr old daughters finger at the end of our vows. The ring was my engagement ring from my first husband. She felt so excited about being part of the ceremony. I was a very small wedding.
