Congrats to Liz for winning Nothing to Hide. This week I am giving away The Stars Shine Bright.
To enter to win, leave a comment about a place where you saw the stars or nature in a beautiful way. Living in the suburbs of Houston, I can see the stars somewhat but not enough. There are a few streets where I live that have just the most beautiful trees lining each side of the street. They give me peace, and sometimes I drive those streets just to relax.
I can only ship to the US, and I'll choose a winner next week.
(Stay tuned to my next blog entry about earning free books from Tyndale.)

I remember when I was in the second grade, my father showed me the big dipper for the first time. I was amazed that there were pictures in the night sky. I went in and drew a picture to take the school the next day, sure that no one else's father could be so wise.
I've been in love the stars ever since.
In Africa, at the end of our mission trip we went on a safari. While driving in the dark amongst the elephants, the driver stopped and pointed UP. I'll never forget how big the sky was, how close the stars were, how big GOD became to me.
We recently moved to Wyoming and the stars here are amazing... but the most amazing stars where when I was in College in Idaho. I remember lying outside with my sisters and watching the stars.

I use to live in Hawaii and the stars there seemed so close to could touch them!!! I love it when I can spy a shooting star, which doesn't happen that often in Kansas!
Thank you for the opportunity!
