I took a few weeks off from the giveaway, and I'm so ashamed to say I still have two books sitting on my dresser to be mailed. How sad is that? I am so sorry. I had planned to mail them, but then the holidays came and I was sick. :(
So, I will mail them. I promise. Please forgive me.
Today, I'm giving away Against the Tide by Elizabeth Camden, which is a great book. The book deals with opium addiction, so to enter to win, leave a comment about your favorite "good" addiction. Mine is that when I have an author I love, I have to own all their books. And, they have to be next to each other on my bookcase even if I never read them again.
To get a second entry, follow the blog and leave a comment that you follow.
Make sure you put your email address so that I can contact you.
I can only ship to the US.
I'll pick a winner next Tuesday.

Don't have a true addiction but I do enjoy coffee and tea a lot! :)

I follow you already with GFC. I would like to follow with email. I don't see the option to do that. You can add a gadget to the sidebar via Blogger. Blogger uses Feedburner and it seems to work for me.
I have many addictions...good and bad. I guess my best good addiction is that I happily devote myself to positive things like love, knowledge, compassion, forgiveness and above all kindness. I believe you do good things and I am excited to follow your blog! I will download the book and read it. Keep doing good and I will do the same. It's examples like you that really make a difference in people's lives. Rock on, Laura!!!
Thanks, Melanie. You're such an encouragement to me.
Vera, I need to add that. Thanks for the idea.
My good addiction is if I really like a book I have to have a print copy. Even if I've already bought it on kindle or got it for free. I like to have it on my shelf!

My favorite "good" addiction is that I live and breathe baseball. I care nothing about any other sport except for baseball. :)
I am a follower via GFC.
