Congrats to Michelle for winning Talon. This week, I'm giving away A Dangerous Stage, which is a great book. I can't wait to read the third one in the series!
To enter to win, leave a comment about a time you took the stage. I can't stand being on stage. I can do it, but it's hard. It's funny because being a former teacher and a current librarian, I am in front of people all the time....but that's in front of kids, not adults.
Be sure to leave your email address.
I'll pick a winner next week. I can only ship to the US.

Being on stage is nothing new for me- I was that hambone little girl that had no fear. Haha, but when I was 19 I played in a dinner theatre production where I played a young wife that was in the kitchen and putting something down the garbage disposal. When I did that the sound man was suppose to cue up the garbage disposal sound cue, however, the only other sound cue that was a part of the play was a toilet flush and you guessed it, he hit the wrong sound cue and up came the toilet flush. I tried to save it and gave a funny look and said to the audience- "Oops, I better get that fixed". It was sooo funny and all the actors in that play will never forget it!!

Oh I was in a lot of plays through school my favorites were in high school. I was always super nervous but it was fun to accomplish!

Haha, Cheryl! That is an awesome story! :)
I was a dancer growing up, so I was on the stage a lot. But I didn't have to talk, so when it comes to public speaking, I hate doing that. I'm also better if it's spontaneous versus planned, which is weird, but I do best off the cuff.

The only time I've been on stage was when I was in choir and that was only 2-3 times and I didn't like it at all. I greatly dislike being in anyway the center of attention!

Thanks so much for giving away my book, Laura! And I'm so glad you liked it!
Thanks for this giveaway!
My favorite time on stage was during my senior year in highschool in our school production of "The King and I". It was such great fun spending so much time in rehearsal and finally getting to preform for audiences. It was a once in a lifetime experience. One night I forgot an important prop and didn't realize until I needed the prop! I had to make up a line, run backstage and frantically search for where I might have left it. To this day I have no clue what the other actors did on stage for the couple if minutes I was gone!

Ugghh... taking the stage is the worst for me!! As a child, I would sing duets with a friend of mine, but as an adult... no way!! I have HAD to take the stage when I was a VBS director at our church. My husband is a pastor... so he doesn't mind, but me?-- I'm a behind the scenes girl!
Thanks for this giveaway... It think this is the only book I don't OWN of Camy's!!
