Today, I'm giving away Gone South. It's a cute read. To enter to win, leave a comment with the best place you've gone. I loved Boston. It's my favorite city. I loved Colorado. It's beautiful.
But, the best place I've gone is a little orphanage in the Mexican desert. I went two summers in a row, and it forever changed me. In fact, I used it as the model for the mission trip my characters take in my first book (releasing February 4, 2014)!

Signed up to follow blog, hope the request went through. I got a message that blog didn't have email following. Anyway, the book sounds like one I would like to read. I live in the "Deep South" and still love reading anything Southern.

Hello Laura, I would have to say Poland. I went to the home of my ancestors and visited their homes from the 1800's. It was great! Met relatives I didn't know I had while there and made new friends. It was the best.

I think the best place that I've gone to is Cape May New Jersey. I love the Victorian time period and seeing all the gorgeous architecture was such a thrill.

Oh gosh, hard to decide where my favorite place is. There really is no place like home (Michigan). I love going to the Great Lakes, like Mackinac Island!
The best place I have gone would be the Black Hills. It has been years and years since I was there, but remember so clearly the beauty. I have also signed up to follow your blog and look forward to it!
Thank you for the opportunity to win the book--I love the Grand Canyon! My hubby and I went there when he had to travel for work, so we made a mini-vacation out of it. It's incredible to see in person!

I have not been to too many places outside of my little communities I have lived in but right now, I'd have to say my local library is my favorite place. It is a satellite library that is only open for half a day, one day a week. So that means library day is looked forward to all week by me & also my daughter! I know I can order off the internet, but there is something about going into a room filled with books! Our local librarian is awesome too! :)
