I reconnected with Christ when I was working at an orphanage in Mexico. They had the most beautiful sunsets that reflected vibrant colors onto the desolate houses in the area. God's beauty is everywhere, and I'm amazed He shines into the dirtiest places of my heart. I worked there two summers in a row, and I long to go back.

I have had a strong connection with the Lord since my first memories. I believe it was because my Dad died from Leukemia when I was 4 yrs old. Everyone told me he was in Heaven with God. So when I was small I would talk to God and my Dad. I knew I would see my Dad when I got to Heaven.

The best book I've read in awhile is "The Doctor's Lady" by Jody Hedlund. I really enjoyed it.

I LOVE jenny B Jones!! She is a great author! I accepted Christ into my life when I was 8 at a family camp called Mt. hermon in CA. I prayed with my parents and askec him into my life. I am so thankful to have been raised in a Christian home with parents who love the Lord! Thanks Laura!

One of the best books I've read lately is Lady of Milkweed Manor by Julie Klassen. I couldn't put it down!
