Starting Weight

Ok, well, I am not self-confident enough to post an actual number, but I thought I would post a picture of me from March. Then, I can see a transition...hopefully soon.

I have to say I'm a little discouraged today. The first week and a half, I lost four pounds. I've been staying under my calorie allowance, but I haven't lost any more. In fact, I gained two. UGH! I'm frustrated, but I'm not going to give up.

Hey! Your blog is so cute! I love it!
Losing weight is hard - I never have the discipline to count calories. Brad has lost 35 pounds (relatively fast) by basically cutting flour and sugar out of his diet, except one day a week he eats whatever he wants. There is a little more to it, but that's the main idea. He loves the book The Four Hour Body, that's where the diet he's on came from. He's trying to convince me to do it with him once I'm not pregnant anymore because he says he feels so good being off flour and sugar, and I think I might! It only sounds do-able since it has an off-day. I'm sure everyone tells you stories of how someone they know lost weight...you'll find a plan that works for you! I don't know why I didn't email all that - love you!

Thanks for commenting. I tried cutting sugar, but I always go back. I lack self-control.
I'm using My Fitness Pal, which just calculates your calories for the day and your exercise. You enter what you eat (a database has all the info). It's helping me stay motivated.
I've heard a lot of people say that about sugar, and that's awesome Brad lost so much. I wish I had the will power to cut things out completely. I'm weak!
