Giveaway: Rebellious Heart

Congrats to Dawn for winning Into the Whirlwind.

Today, I'm giving away Rebellious Heart. To enter to win, leave a comment about something on your heart. The violence in the world is on my heart. World leaders can meet all they want, but the only solution is Jesus. Yet, so many want nothing to do with him. It encourages me to live well for Him, to be a witness of His love by loving people.

Be sure to leave an email address.
I can only ship to the US.
I'll pick a winner next week.

Have a great first week of fall!

I agree with you about the violence in the world., it is really disturbing. How did we get to this place? I think it started when the nation left God out of everything. It is really sad. This nation needs the Lord desperately. My email is momndad243@yahoo.com

How exciting!! I REALLY want to read this book! :)

Something that has been strongly on my heart lately is Matthew 6:19-21 "“Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be."

I feel like my generation (I'm 25) and the generations to come after me have SO many distractions in this world. VIDEO GAMES, media, cell phones, immorality, etc. Not many people seem to invest in the things that truly matter. Even music and TV doesn't teach people values like it used to. That's why our world is so confused as to what priorities and indulges so much into pleasing self rather than focusing on loving and helping others.

The world keeps searching and investing in things that are temporary and still emerges unfulfilled. But when you discover what matters, and discover your purpose in Christ, your cup overflows. I just wish people could see how they may fit into the grander scheme of things and become a part of something that is so much bigger and more fulfilling than they could ever imagine!!

Okay, I'm sure that was a much longer answer than you were asking for, but I feel so strongly about this right now! lol Thanks for the awesome giveaway!!

I am concerned that Christian rights are being taken away while other groups rights are being given priority. fishingjan @ aol.com

What is on my heart is what the other poster said. Our Christian rights are being taking away. While these vile groups get their rights and more. Like the Bible says they'll call evil good and good evil. That is so true and it gets worse everyday. We have to pray.

There are so many different things on my heart, right now the biggest thing is probably being the person Christ intends for me to be. Also a lot of compassion for those who are suffering with depression/mental illness, often we as the church do not recognize these are diseases just the same as any other.
