Giveaway!

Congrats to Linda for winning The House that Love Built. Sorry it took me two weeks. Last Saturday was the start of one of my dog sitting jobs, and it was 107 degrees. I didn't do much thinking that day.

Today, I'm giving away Undeniably Yours by Becky Wade. I LOVE the cover. I know for a while, the covers haven't been showing actual faces. To enter to win, leave a comment about what you like or don't like to see in book covers. This is a little thing, but it always stands out when I see it--historical fiction where the girl has highlights. I doubt girls trying to save the farm were worried about their hair.

Be sure to leave your email address. I'll pick a winner next week....unless it's another scorcher. I can only ship to the US.

I prefer book covers to NOT show people's faces. For me I tend to like to use my imagination when it comes to what the person's face looks like.

Thanks for the giveaway!

Thanks for giving away a copy of Undeniably Yours, Laura! I, too, love the book's cover. When I first saw it, I just stared at it and stared at it -- I was overjoyed -- because for me the image captures the characters, the romance, and the modern tone of the book perfectly. Jennifer Parker, an in-house designer at Bethany, created the cover. She purposely left the faces out of the models (which also happens to be my personal preference) so that UY's readers can imagine the characters' faces the way they want them to look.

Editing myself... "left the models' faces out' is what I was trying to say. :)))

Thanks so much for stopping by, Becky!
I agree that not seeing their faces lets you imagine them the way you interpret the book, not the way someone else saw them. It's like when a book is turned to a movie, and it's never quite how you pictured the characters!
